Description of this Experiental Workshop: We will gather and talk about the challenging issues in our lives, which we choose to release, as they are restricting our efforts to achieve our goals and happiness. Then we will relax and go to a meditative state. I will administer each of twelve sacred oils to the feet and chakras on each person. This is a process to release traumas in our lives, from emotional and physical abuse. Many are not aware of how old traumas may alter our lives and create illness. People may become blocked because of this, and are unable to progress and achieve the goals and highest potential they desire. The formulas used in this process were created from research on the rites of ancient Egyptian ritual clearing. The oils work on a cellular level, and release the memory from the cells. Our meditation time will be approx. one and a half hours. We will then return to consciousness refreshed and much more peaceful and relaxed, and share what we experienced. Refreshments will be served to ground us before leaving.
Each participant should bring: Two blankets- one for warmth and one to lie on along with a pillow. As this meditation is conducted on the floor please bring whatever is needed for your comfort, such as a pillow for your knees. Wear comfortable clothing preferably a button up the front shirt as the oils will be applied to the heart, and solar plexus area. No jewelry please.
In preparation: Please eat lightly before this event, and drink lots of water. Begin thinking of those things in your life that you choose to release.
Dr Joan Barice received her MD from Stanford Medical School and her MPH from Harvard University. She has studied, taught about and used therapeutic essential oils for over 5 years with beneficial effects for herself, her family, friends and patients. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Preventive Medicine, and Addiction Medicine, has special expertise in complementary medicine including therapeutic essential oils, acupuncture, qigong and energy healing. She uses Young Living essential oils in her holistic healing practice.

the blocks to quality relationships - usually found in
family of origin history; and to begin to resolve those
issues. This therapy is especially successful for

I believe that we can make a major impact with students in all grades by developing a deeper understanding of the effects of adoption, neglect, abandonment, abuse, addiction, and spiritual poverty, including miss- identification. By understanding the survival roles children develop; we increase and improve on our teaching techniques. When we change our perspective, we will improve our communication skills; when this happens, we have an opportunity to assist student's develop an understanding of who they really are; gain their own self-identity, and realize more their worth. I believe it has the potential of breaking the cycle of addiction; reducing criminal behavior, and create a more conducive learning environment. A beginning would involve two-day in-service
